Como artesana y artista, siempre estoy buscando formas de experimentar y crear algo nuevo. Este el primer cuaderno cuyas tapas me atrevo a pintar y estoy encantada con los resultados. Los pigmentos sobre el lienzo crearon texturas y formas orgánicas que reflejan la belleza de la naturaleza que tanto me inspira.
Además, esta libreta es una pieza excepcional para mí, ya que la hice para el cumpleaños de una amiga. Cada detalle fue resultado de la libertad que me di para experimentar con los materiales y técnicas a mi disposición. De los aprendizajes incorporados en el proceso surgirán otras piezas pintadas a mano que serán refugio de la belleza que quedará plasmada en su interior.
Materiales: cartón de 2 mm, lienzo crudo, hojas de bookcel, hilo encerado, cinta selladora y pintura acrílica.
As a crafter and artist, I am always looking for ways to experiment and create something new. This is the first notebook I have ventured into painting the covers and I am delighted with the results. The pigments on the canvas created organic textures and shapes that reflect the beauty of nature which inspires me so much.
In addition, this notebook is an exceptional piece for me, as I made it for a friend's birthday. Every detail was the result of the freedom I gave myself to experiment with the materials and techniques at my disposal. From the learnings incorporated in the process, other hand-painted pieces will emerge that will be a refuge of the beauty that will be captured inside.
Materials: 2 mm cardboard covers, raw canvas, lined bookcel sheets, waxed thread, sealing tape, and acrylic paint.
